Guest heavyduty00 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 what do Custom roms actually do lol? are they supposed to make your device faster ( significantly) and is that it? I installed hungarian hedgehog on my tft san francisco yesterday and its basically same as my stock orange rom but maybe a bit faster ( not really noticeable) And how do i delete apps from the custom rom which i dont want? Is it hard if i wanted to change my current rom to a rom which just has all orange apps removed like this one: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...-san-francisco/ thanks

Guest heavyduty00 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 cool so custom roms are worth it then? would a custom rom be better then just a rom with orange apps removed from in performance wise etc ( noticeable performance) thanks
Guest heavyduty00 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 how do you backup everything on ur phone on titanium backup instead of backing up every single app each time lol?

Guest targetbsp Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 I'm kind of wondering the same thing. I'm using the stock orange rom with a LOT removed using Titanium and various other things disabled in Autostarts. I'm really aiming for Froyo but I'm reluctant to install that until the touchscreen occasionally freezing on wake issue is resolved. I'm wondering if there's any particular benefit in the meantime in using a custom 2.1 rom if I've already sorted my own one out?
