ext2 formatting issue with 32 gb card

OK I got a class 4 32 gb micro sd card. When I try to format a partition with the ext2 file system using minitools it completes everything susesfully but then instead of the partition showing up as being ext2 it shows up as OTHER or UNFORMATTED. I have tried other computers what is going on? please helpp me if u can.

Create 2 partitions.

Both set as PRIMARY.

Main for storage as FAT32 and APPS2SD as EXT2.
