What should replace my pulse?

i have just reluctantly sold my pulse :) and am in pursuit of my next android ;) looking at the defy, optimus one, and san fransisco

which does any one think i should get plus others

bare in mind it needs to be one supported for custom roms as i hate the stock s***

Now the Desire HD has been properly cracked open it is looking very good indeed. I have a DHD still running stock but the moment the custom gingerbread roms start appearing I'll jump right in. I have recently gone from Pulse also.
