help please desire stuck on boot screen

hey guys in a bit of bother

i downloaded the 1.4.1 hd rom and its been stuck on htc boot logo for a hour iv tried going back in to boot mood clearing the cache and factory reset and do a nandroid backup still nothing any ideas guys?

Can tou access ur sd card from recovery menu?

I have had this problem when going from a Desire HD ROM back to a MCR R9. It drove me insane, but I finally found a solution. It seems that the EX partition was the cause. If you have installed A2SD/A2SD+ previously or have a partition try the following:

1. Take the battery out and hold the power and volume down key when starting up.
   
2. Boot in recovery
   
3. Mount storage/SD. Backup anything you need on your machine.
   
4. Then use paragon partition manager or smiler software to remove and merge the partition.
   
5. Placed a ROM on my card, boot in recovery and flash the new ROM.
   

I have had no problems since.

Or you can just go to advanced options and format the ext partition instead of the fourth option. It's less of a hassle.

Otherwise do what he said and it should work.
