Guest asdfdsaddaasdas Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 Ok, i got the greek version of the (TFT) ZTE Blade and till yesterday i had no problems rooting my phone with Universal Androot. But yesterday when i flashed my phone to a custom Rom (to check it out) and then wipe and install the stock Rom again. Now, that i've installed Universal Androot again, whenever i reboot my phone i have to unroot and re-root the phone again cause superuser stops working after reboot :) For example: I gave su privileges to Titanium Backup (clicked the "remember" choice), and when i opened the app it worked great, then i reboot and try open it again and i get a "dont have root access, please root your phone" or something similar. Then i go open superuser and see that "Titanium Backup" is still set to allow but its not working.
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 have you wiped the cache and the data ? made a factory reset ?
Guest asdfdsaddaasdas Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 Ya i did, and for the record im using the Universal Androot 1.6.1
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 the version i used is 1.6.5 beta 2 and worked fine perhaps you could try this version
Guest asdfdsaddaasdas Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 (edited) Hmmm, i didnt know there was a beta (i downloaded mine through market). edit: i just tried rooting with the beta version (not soft root), and the 1st time it failed but the 2nd one it said it succeeded. I will have to check it a bit and tell you if it worked or not edit2: Nope its still not working after restart. Edited December 18, 2010 by asdfdsaddaasdas
