Guest Koki1337 Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 Do you have the drivers installed?
Guest Tim Weri Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 I did install the SDK. I downloaded the drivers but i was unable to install it
Guest B4rt Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 can you outline all the steps you did and what file you have installed? This way we can know where the problem is.
Guest Tim Weri Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 I installed the SDK. The SDK downloaded the usb driver but i was not sure that it was installed or not. Then i downloaded the acer liquid os upgrader from the official website. I installed it and it told me to connect the liquid to the pc first but i couldn't. I tried to boot, enable debugging, ... but the pc couldn't detect the device. I'm new to android, please help me
Guest B4rt Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 download this and install. This should install the drivers you require http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Ap...r&SC=AAP_10
Guest Tim Weri Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 download this and install. This should install the drivers you require http://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/Ap...r&SC=AAP_10 Everything was smooth until this line appeared "Input string was not in correct format.". I clicked OK, and close. Then nothing happened. Was that that all ?
Guest B4rt Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 when exactly did that appear? So you were able to install the drivers and your liquid was detected by the PC?
Guest Tim Weri Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 when exactly did that appear? So you were able to install the drivers and your liquid was detected by the PC? That appeared after the progess bar finished. And the phone is still not detected
Guest Tim Weri Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 I've got a new problem, i tried to installed the android 2.2 from the sd card. When i booted the phone ( by volume down + camera + power btn ), rainbow( bars of colors ) appeared on the screen and then disappeared, and appeared, and disappeared ... ( =.= i think ). Now i can't do anything with the phone, help me.
Guest B4rt Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 I am not sure how you managed to install 2.2 without your phone being detected by windows. But it looks like you have somehow managed to corrupt you current image. Before you can do anything, you need to install acer drivers. Once that is completed, someone more experience with adb can tell you the exact steps to get your phone functional. you can try and download the drivers again, try this link i got it from the lcr how to page. http://www.megaupload.com/?d=E5PTHL3O
