Guest L0cu7us Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 anyone have tested tethering (wifi or usb is the same for me) to play online games ? i'm trying to play using froyo device (liquid) as a modem for my pc to play battlefield bad company 2, but i have continuous disconnection, many time i'm also unable to connect to EA, while with a simple router (huawei e5830) it works perfectly.... I've also teste tethering on another froyo device (huawei ideos aka u8150) with the same (bad) results :-/ The network is the Italian TIM. I think it is a froyo limitation, it is ok for simple browsing but NOT for other tasks... Thanks.

Guest B4rt Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 i think for liquid tether to work you need phh's kernel. I dont think it will work on a normal acer kernel. I could be wrong though
Guest L0cu7us Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 (edited) infact it doesn't work at all :-( it is a REAL pity we can't use our device as a real modem :-( Edited December 19, 2010 by L0cu7us
