Guest rferrett Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 Have almost all of my downloaded apps on SD card. Only a couple of small ones that won't allow SD install yet for some reason I only have 17mb left. Which is stopping me from installing the OTA market update. Really annoying that all of the google apps (Maps, Gmail, Reader) wont go to the SD card and I don't know what to do. Any hints or tips?
Guest bpivk Posted December 18, 2010 Report Posted December 18, 2010 (edited) The cache is still on the phone even if the app itself resides on your SD card. You can use cache cleaner to clean the cache, use a custom partition table using alphravev's S-OFF, you can use a custom rom with A2SD,... Search a little on this forum and you'll find a lot of topics covering this. EDIT: This is just the first page of searching about internal memory. http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...ot-moving-apps/ http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...c-desire-heelp/ http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...-stock-htc-rom/ http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...how-a2sd-works/ http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...ne-memory-full/ Edited December 18, 2010 by bpivk
