How do we use ring tones off the sd card

Does anybody know how to use ringtones installed on my sd card so when the phone rings it will go to them,

Ive tried making a short-cut it doesnt work,

And why is there so many useless ring tones on the phone already?

Can we remove them to give us some more memory

ps 1 otherthing wheres the sim lock and how do i use it to unlock my phone

From what i can tell you can only do this if your phone is unlocked

You need the PHM registry editor to do this

and this will only run on unlocked phones.
