REQUEST: 2.3 screen sleep animation

Hi Ive tried to port the old style tv effect that is in 2.3 to 2.2 but have been unsucessful, let me explain what I have tried so far

copying the lock_screen files from the framework-res.apk under the folder res\anim but still had the old effect

copying every single file under the anim folder to the 2.2 framework and same outcome

Where does the sleep animation get stored?

Could someone either tell me where it is, port it for me or send me the link to where it has already been ported

FYI I know that its not in the sdk image so downloaded the nexus s system dump and looked through there

I know about these but what about the screen off animation, in gingerbread they got this cool old tv off effect for when you put it to sleep, I want to get that ported, Ive been doing some searching and there is a team trying to port it but its proving more difficult

In the topic over at xda they found the animation in the aosp source code but it hasn't been compiled for froyo or anything.

If I find some time I might give it a try, but don't get your hopes up because I've never compiled a rom before.

At least I'll have it on my iPod till it is ported to the Pulse B)
