Guest nissan3 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Hi i have notice that my ZTE Blade browser is slow are the any really fast browsers for the phone or how can i speed upo my normal browsere.
Guest targetbsp Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 (edited) I don't know about fast but if you frequent a lot of forums then Xscope is really nice. It reformats them to the width of your screen better than any of the others (and I have tried them all :) ). It's designed to be really fast but variable network speeds make it impossible to tell for sure! Edited December 19, 2010 by targetbsp
Guest heavyduty00 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 the new dolphin browser is pretty good, thats what i use lol
Guest nissan3 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Please keep them coming because my browser seems very slow compared to the iphone and desire.
Guest asdfdsaddaasdas Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 I wanted to try fennec (firefox 4 mobile) but it gave me some requirement errors so i went to Dolphin's Lite browser. its pretty good
Guest HMZX Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Hi i have notice that my ZTE Blade browser is slow are the any really fast browsers for the phone or how can i speed upo my normal browsere. yeah dolphin browser and opera mini are by far the faster ones dolphin is faster though
Guest Rotmann Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 There is nothing faster than Opera Mini, even on GPRS I have the most sites loaded after 5-10 seconds. It compresses the content on the Opera servers and you get the compressed site. This way you make 75-90% less traffic and the loading speeds are very fast. BUT because of the fact that you do not get the full site rendered, it can happen some times that the site will not be rendered as it should. I use it as my main browser.
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 i love dolphin browser HD version 2.1
Guest ko0l Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Miren browser http://www.appbrain.com/app/miren-browser/cn.miren.browser
Guest targetbsp Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Miren is good too. I was torn between that and Xscope. Xscope is just a bit better at handling forums. I have no idea why there is so much love for Dolphin. I think it's rubbish. Browser preference seems to be a very personal thing on any platform though so really you just gotta try them all.
Guest AndyHibberd Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Dolphin MINI. Not HD. I wrote a review/summary in this forum, have a search.
Guest ko0l Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 (edited) I don't like dolphin hd, too much clutter with bookmark side bar etc on the screen, and Xscope lags when zooming in and out of web pages. Dolphin mini is good but it doesn't hide the tab bar and address bar, its a waste of screen space. Thats why I like miren and stock. I wrote a review/summary in this forum, have a search. Hey, I just read your review and you said theres full screen browsing, but I can't find the setting anywhere. Where is it? DW, found it, nice fastest browser. Edited December 19, 2010 by ko0l
Guest asdfdsaddaasdas Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Dolphin MINI. Not HD. I wrote a review/summary in this forum, have a search. indeed, the HD version is crap. the mini one though is epic :) gonna try Miren and see if its worth switching
Guest strumluff Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 My personal favourite and default browser is Miren, less cluttered than Dolphin HD...this said I haven't tried the afformentioned Dophin Mini. Care to elaborate on differences between that and Miren?
Guest ko0l Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 (edited) Hmm, after using it for a while. Just found out dolphin mini doesn't support location services. Staying with miren for now. It's quite similar to dolphin mini. Edited December 19, 2010 by ko0l
Guest IronDoc Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 I use Dolphin when I'm using LastPass, hate the UI though. I like Opera Mobile but it's really big. XScope is probably the best all round I think.
Guest allvetarn Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Isn't The standard browser the fastest one?
Guest gusthy Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Isn't The standard browser the fastest one? No, Opera Mini is definitely the fastest. Also, Opera Mobile is very fast when using 3G or WiFi. Dolphin HD uses the same rendering engine as stock browser.
Guest phillai Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 What is the best web browser for the ZTE Blade? I'm trying all of them and I can't make my mind up!! Which one do you use and why?
Guest Phoenix Silver Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 What is the best web browser for the ZTE Blade? I'm trying all of them and I can't make my mind up!! Which one do you use and why? skyfire because it plays flash videos
Guest deweylewie Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 Opera mini is the fastest for me.
Guest Azurren Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 (edited) Opera mini is the fastest for me. Opera Mobile The finished version of Opera Mini :D Because its the fastest and doesn't lag Edited February 20, 2011 by Azurren
Guest Stevvie Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 I find miren browser pretty good.
Guest lmnt55 Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 I like Miren too. It's fast, light, feels easy to use and has all the options I need. I was using Dolphin but found it a bit chunky and laggy on the SF since the last few months updates.
Guest phillai Posted February 20, 2011 Report Posted February 20, 2011 I agree about Dolphin and Dolphin HD, I found them a bit too clunky i.e certain web pages don't look as neat as Opera. I'll give Miren a try. Is there no love for the original standard browser?
