Yes it's cheaply made but what else do you expect for a budget smartphone?

At least it's cheaply made and cheaply priced, too many things are cheaply made and overpriced.

to be honest, for the price it's not that badly made. It's reasonable.

If I hurl mine on the floors it shatters into pieces.

Another topic that would have been absolutely pointless, but the comments are hilarious :)

Actually I have one that got thrown by someone in a fit of temper into a brick wall, it bounced off it smashed onto the floor

After picking up the cover and battery, putting it together again it's now been working without a fault for over 2 months.

so the build quality IS pretty Good!

I find the built quality a lot better than my Nokia 5800, and that was over £200!

I accidently dropped mine onto concrete, only about 1.5m but it split into 3 pieces (body, battery and back). It went together ok and works perfectly, just a couple of scratches on the back. Not badly made at all.

Mine doesn't. Return it citing a minor defect.

OMG.

it's been said before, but i just realized that i payed 100 quid for smth that isnt as well build as a 400 quid phone.

shocker.

i had the same shock when i moved into a flat that was £300 a month after living in a £800 a month house. unbelievable, couldnt get over the fact i did not have a garden and conservatory on the 3nd floor.

honestly mate, what did you expect?

you dont complain about not getting a bentley for the price of a skoda do you?

My Blade has OLED, 512mb ram and capacitive multi-touch for £100. It should really cost more. I feel guilty for getting it for such a low price! ZTE knew they messed up and made the TFT model. Even then, it's still a bargain compared to comparable smart phones double the price. I can live with a few squeaks, even though I've noticed none! The only things that feel a cheap are the home, menu and back buttons .The San Francisco logo looks naff!

I have to agree they are badly made, but they are also very inexpensive for the tech you get.

I can live with crappy build quality for the specifications it has. By the time the warranty has run out there will be much faster phones, better built for around the same cost. Until then I'll get it repaired/replaced under warranty every time it dies.

I like positive posts and we seem to be seeing loads of negative ones.

Do iphone users moan as much?

The build quality is FAR from crappy.

Mine has no such faults. First one was perfect (except the gradient-bug on the screen), the build is solid, etc. Second one (current) has only one little bit what isn't right: the back isn't matching the phone at the bottom, so there is a little edge. Not even 1mm, so I can't say it is cheaply made.
