Guest razzor1711 Posted December 19, 2010 Report Posted December 19, 2010 Hi, if you read my other threads you'd know, that my touchscreen is not working and i can't enter the clockwork recovery menu. so i downloaded the stockrom and extracted it. then i had the boot.img and flashed it to my phone. and i flashed the recovery.img too. so now the screen is displaced again, like here in the video: first it shows the orange bootscreen and then the one from my former rom the villain. How can i reset it completly to send it in?! Oh and the clockwork is not working anyway ;) hope one of you can help me :) Regards

So does it let you into fastboot (turn the phone on while holding the up button), from there you should be able to flash clockwork and roms that are in the .img format, I dont know though whether anyone has uploaded a system.img to flash if none of this helps take it back, orange knows nothing so will most likely give you a replacement Edited December 20, 2010 by Richard_Arkless

Guest Stryke69 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 You live close to the border? Then I'd say just "walk" over and ask for replacement. They can't say mor than "No" :)

The phone is an oled but the 2.2 rom that paul posted is built for both the oled and tft so it should work fine for you Edited December 20, 2010 by Richard_Arkless
Guest Stryke69 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 I thought he was looking for a stock nandroid backup?
Guest Richard_Arkless Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) Hi razzor, sorry about the delay, my sister is addicted to her phone and because her netbook is broke this is her primary device to update facebook and speak to her friends lol but finally got it off her so I have created a nandroid backup and here it is http://db.tt/CNSfIJ9 its not completely like pauls, ive made some changes like changed the framework to be more htc sense and also put the gingerbread keyboard (but its too small so I had to manually install a 3rd party one like the htc ime one) in it but apart from that everything is vanilla I guess all that matters is that you get your phone up and running, getting clockwork working is the next step Edited December 21, 2010 by Richard_Arkless

Guest Richard_Arkless Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) I think I found out out how to fix clockwork first wipe recovery using this command in fastboot like the others above fastboot-windows erase recovery then flash the clockwork recovery again Now you can flash your own rom Edited December 21, 2010 by Richard_Arkless
Guest Arr Too Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 erase isn't necessary -- just flash the new image over the top of the old one.
