Stuck on Dell logo

i live in the US.

i have a dell streak i tried to update to 2.1 when i clicked update via sd card. it turned black and i took out the battery.

strange thing i never put the .pkg file on the dell

i tried to turn it on.

its been stuck on the dell logo for 10mins..

turned it off . took out the battery

nothing.

do i have to reflash it.?
