I am having problems downloading a suitable ebook reader from the market. I can't seem to get those i have tried to recognise my epub files on my sd card. even if I copy them into the ebook reader list as in akido but it still doesn't recognise them. If I click on them direct from ifile manager it states application not available. Would be grateful for any assistance as I have tried many readers and can't get them to work with the files :)

Aldiko sets up a folder called ebooks on your sd card. Inside this is a folder called import (create one if it doesn't exist). Copy all your epub files to the import folder then run Aldiko. In the first screen's menu is an option 'Import' use this to start the import process.Aldiko sets up folders for the books. If this doesn't work maybe your epub files are faulty, the Calibre program is your best bet for fixing ebook formats. Best of luck.

Nice one - I have exactly the same issue - will try it when I get home. Cheers :)

Also worth looking at Kobo for epub files. It wil find them from any folder and import.
