HELP: Lost touchscreen on CM6

CM6 0.4 on my wife's pulse decided that the touchscreen is not needed :)

The CM6 was working sweet for few weeks now but the touchscreen just stopped working this morning.

I can boot into clockwrk and have nandroid bkp but there is lots of data on the phone which she needs and cant afford to delete all her data (I may be killed).

Any idea? I am lost

Cant input data with finger, lcd is working... I can input using the trackball (which is not enough to input pin ).

tried it without sim card but touch is still not working, it boots to the keylock but as the touch is not working I am unable to unlock it with trackball/keys.

You can reflash CM 0.4 after a nandroid backup without a wipe.

IT IS WORKING NOW - rebooting with/wo SIM card few times did the trick! :)
