how to root stock rom

Any help on how to root my phone, im running stock rom.

I know custom rom is better, i just need to root for titanium backup so i can backup the stock launcher and use it on custom rom to change lockscreen wallpaper

i trying to flash back to custom rom but cant get to clockworkmod recovery menu? it goes to ftm screen lol

The stock ROMs tend to include a recovery image, overwriting your ClockworkMod image. Just re-flash ClockworkMod using fastboot (or however else you want to do it).

To add root, use Universal Androot.
