Guest Twiggeh Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Shouldnt it be "Stock Orange/ZTE ROM"? Because only people from the UK have the Orange branding, the rest of us are using the stock delivered from ZTE. Anyway, im nitpicking.

Guest lixcab Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 Sorry, just bumping up to get more votes.
Guest jamidodger1 Posted December 20, 2010 Report Posted December 20, 2010 can we get paul or someone from admin to pin this?
Guest lixcab Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) bump for more votes :) Edit: More votes? Edited December 21, 2010 by lixcab
Guest lixcab Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 Is it annoying that I keep bumping this up the forum?
Guest Shrikey Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 Its a mistake to require voting to see the results. Im undecided as of yet on which rom to pick and just had to pick a random one to see what people think is best.
Guest rbbrslmn Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 if anyone wants to see the results pm me and I'll send you an image at around 6pm and midnight.
Guest tdodd Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) I'm sticking with stock Orange, minus the Orange apps, until we get a production grade release of Froyo or Gingerbread. My phone is a production device, not a development machine and I don't want to bugger about with alpha and beta releases with constant updates, bugs, fixes and workarounds. Apart from the WiFi bug, which for me is a non issue, the stock ROM works perfectly well and gives me long battery life. It's very much a case of "if it ain't broke don't fix it!. Guest womble_sanfran Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) 167 people have voted here, have you all tried all of those ROMs to form your opinion? I think its a bit hard to pick my favourite when I havent tried them all but I would still like to see the results because I value the opinions of those who have tried all those ROMs. So which ROM is currently top? EDIT: Perhaps a more meaningful poll would be 'What ROM are you currently using?' as it can be assumed that most people find a good rom and stick with it. Edited December 21, 2010 by womble_sanfran

Guest lixcab Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 BTW Stackblaroid is on v0.2 it has been for a while Thanks! :)
Guest rwalton159 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 It would have been useful to have posted up whether the roms are 2.1 or 2.2
Guest geegeethatsme Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 (edited) Perhaps a more meaningful poll would be 'What ROM are you currently using?' as it can be assumed that most people find a good rom and stick with it. Good point. I have stuck with the MODACO Custom ROMs. Now on a baked r4 which is ridiculously stable (no freezes or crashes - none, nada, zilch), gives me a battery life that suits my usage, and which tolerates my clumsy push/pull efforts over adb, minor tweaking of system/data files and so on. Guest Phoenix Silver Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 It would have been useful to have posted up whether the roms are 2.1 or 2.2 why ? :) it's written froyo bump
Guest rwalton159 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 (edited) why ? ;) it's written froyo bump because 2.1 / 2.2 is easier to understand for newbies than froyo (sounds like a Lord of the Rings character :)) Edited December 22, 2010 by rwalton159
Guest lixcab Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 (sounds like a Lord of the Rings character ;)) Froyo, the ring-bearer. :)
Guest martinhy Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 plz vote, i wanna know which ROM is the best!
Guest advisco Posted January 3, 2011 Report Posted January 3, 2011 Japanese Jellyfish is missing in the list (RSL3b at this moment), which I'm using and I think it is a very good rom (actually I'm still on RLS2, but will replace it with RLS3b soon).
