Just registered to see how it would be on the vega and got the email straight away but unable to download because it does not count the advent Vega as a android phone.

a version i have that works on most android phones and is pretty recent .

does NOT work on Vega it crashes out all the time force closes :)

Shame, oh well - am finding Smart Keyboard Pro really good for the advent vega anyway

Tried Swype, but couldn't get it to work. SlideIT is just as good as Swype and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Smart Keyboard Pro is also good, but when you're used to sliding, regular keyboards seem tedious and slow.

Sorry to bring up this old post.

I tried to install using the email I received from Swpe (for my ZTE Blade)

It installs OK and licences itself, but it doesn't work the way it should i.e. swype through to form a word doesn't work.

However as a keyboard by pressing one character at a time works well. Defeats the whole purpose of swype though.

EDIT: Just saw this on Swype forum and as expected they are "working on a Honeycomb" version.

So hopefully we should get it one day.
