Possible to have this notifcation bar on 1.5.1?

I was playing with my girlfriend's Samsung Tab and thought the notification bar was pretty awesome. I know there are widgets for the wireless controls and I haven't really checked to see if the others are available in widgets but I think overall, this is a much more elegant solution. I especially like the orientation lock and the brightness slider. Would it be possible to add this to 1.5.1?

Have you tried "smart bar" on the android market ?

It can put application into notification bar(called status bar in the program).

Well...I put "Quick Settings"(another app on the market). :)

Thanks a ton!! I've been looking for something similar too, after seeing a friend's Galaxy Tab!! Quick Settings is really cool. If only they could integrate all the controls in the Notification Bar like the Galaxy Tab does!

Thats one of the features I miss from the Captivate. That was a good phone, but the Streaks size is just so much better lol

Quick settings and Smartbar aren't bad. Just the Samsung treatment of having all the controls in the notification bar is sweet. Read somewhere that Cyanogen mod had this. Since Steve is working on CM, maybe we'll get it when that is up and running.

Yeah, CM has it. Steve's port of CM has it along with a lot of other cool features. Once it's done, it'll make the Streak an even more awesome device than it already is! Lol.

So I've been using Quick Settings until CM is ready. Tried Smartbar but it didn't have the rotation lock which is one key toggle I want plus I really like the ability to use the camera LED flash as a flashlight. For anyone using Quick Settings, which switch do you use for Mobile Data, the APN one or non-APN one? The APN one didn't work for me and the non-APN one will turn off but won't turn back on. It says to turn on Mobile Data first. Other than this, Quick Settings is great. Is this the normal behavior? Thanks.
