Guest Swimmerboy Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 How to remove Docs to go which is already in the phone since i bought it?? Easiest way is to hook the phone up to a PC, enable debugging, and do: ADB remount ADB Shell Then locate the .apk file - probably in /system/app and delete it.

Guest Swimmerboy Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 isn't there another easier way?? You might be able to find a file explorer app on the market that allows you to remount and play with the /System partition perhaps? Same steps, but have to do it on the phone through a fiddly GUI :)
Guest Ash_P Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 isn't there another easier way?? Use titanium backup to remove it, or use root explorer to delete the file from /system/apps.
Guest lixcab Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) Use titanium backup to remove it, or use root explorer to delete the file from /system/apps. Ack! Just tried this to remove bookmark widget from Alpha 4 and screen now just showing Android icon with exclamation point and it's upside down! Edit: It just gave me an error and aborted. Oh well. If you've removed something you shouldn't have then go back to a Nandroid backup. If you've not got one of them then re-flashing the same ROM without a wipe *might* fix it.
