Guest Thermostat9 Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 is rom manager compatible with the zte blade and can i use all the roms with it? Given I can't install ClockworkMod as my phone is not seen by my Mac when it is at the Green Android screen I'd be interested in an answer to this too. I've downloaded it but the San Francisco/Blade is not listed, nor any ZTE phone - only the Huawei Pulse/Pulse Mini, Dell Streak, Commtiva Z71, Geeksphone ONE and Spice MI700. Since those names are not familiar from reading this forum I guess that it is not supported? Is there any alternative way to install the ClockworkMod to my phone anyone?

And it worked fine from there.

Thanks, I'd been working through that and when I got stuck I didn't think to carry on reading to the end! Worth noting for others though.

Is there any alternative way to install the ClockworkMod to my phone anyone? The answer actually has its own thread, and I took the trouble to spell out the steps carefully ... http://android.modaco.com/index.php?s=&...t&p=1499715 You can actually do it all without any computer at all. But you may find it easier to download and rename on a computer, before transferring the file(s) across to the phone's sdcard. I used this method by necessity, having an old G4 Mac which is not supported by the Software Development Kit (so no adb or fastboot-mac).

Thanks for that, I never noticed that when searching though, possibly because I was looking for 'Mac' not 'PC'? D'oh! :(
