Guest nabeelk Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 Hi, i just finished installing clockworkmod 2.5.1.3 on my ZTE blade, and would like to know whats the best ROM? I know paul's alpha 3 works great! But are there any better ROM? I tried R4 but clock work failed with error 413. Also how the hell do you change the dialler? It sucks!

Car to drive? etc... It all depends on personal taste. Personally I'm on Pauls Froyo Alpha 4 - don't have any problems with it apart from the radio not working (but I wouldn't use it anyway!). Before this I downloaded a few, flashed them, used for a couple of days then did it all over again. Go out, have a play and make up your own mind :)

Guest Stryke69 Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 I was using paul's modaco 2.1 r4, worked really great. today i switched to finnish fillyjonk, which runs even a bit smoother i think. Atm i'm waiting for the prebaked froyo r4...
Guest nabeelk Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 try with clock version 2.5.0.9 How do you change your clockworkmod? Just install over it?

Guest Swimmerboy Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 try with clock version 2.5.0.9 I can confirm that I've flashed an OLED San Fran with Froyo Alpha4 using Clockwork 2.5.0.9 - if you're on the more recent version then this may be your issue.

Guest Swimmerboy Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 So how do i downgrade to clockworkmod 2.5.0.9 Find the img file on the forum, download it, and flash it the way you flashed it before. It'll overwrite the recovery partition with the new (well, old!) version.

Guest Swimmerboy Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 Really! That easy? Will R4 work on there? What about 2.3 beta? Yes, ran MCR 2.1 R4 but then moved to Froyo Alpha4 - which I'm using now. Gingerbread works (if that's what you mean by 2.3?) but with the limitations/bugs noted in that post
