Guest EpiphanyNL Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 (edited) Hi all, I have bought myself an advent vega (POV mobii tegra) and really enjoying it with the latest firmware and Paul's r5 and Performance pack. I use the device to play with and to have with me for work. Have one problem with it though, to be able to logon to my work I need to be able to login via VPN. The problem is I can't get a VPN connection with groupname and password working on the tablet. On my PC I have the Cisco VPN client. Any has a solution to this? Thanks is advance! Guest MaxiP Posted December 21, 2010 Report Posted December 21, 2010 You may be able to add a VPN connection that is compatible with your company server. Try adding a session - VPN settings are located in the Settings menu under Settings --> Wireless Controls --> VPN Settings This might / might not work depending on how your company RADIUS / ACE server is configured.

Guest thwacker Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Here are instructions on adding Cisco VPN capability to an HTC Desire phone. http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...re-short-howto/ You might be able to adapt these for the Vega. I'm hoping to add Cisco VPN capability to my Vega when I receive it at Christmas so I'd be interested to hear how you get on.

I hope that this reply isn't too late, but i think that the reason why this doesn't work for you is because the 'tun.ko' module from the instructions was compiled for the HTC Desire, and not for the Vega, so maybe a dev could help compile it for you, and you could replace the other one with it. Maybe try asking Paul to help? Edited January 17, 2011 by HunteronX
