Changing the Voicemail default number?

Hi, I've got a Dell Streak running the official 319 Froyo an can't change the settings for the Voicemail number.

When I try to change it in: Settings>Call Settings>Voicemail Settings>Voicemail Number>443 (For giffgaff)

I get a message saying:

Can it be changed somewhere else like in the Build.prop or anywhere else?

P.D: If I change the setting without a SIM card in my phone it seems to be OK, until I put my original SIM in and it reverts to the old setting again.

I just tried mine and it works fine. Have you flashed baseband at all, or are you 100% official 2.2? I flashed to 1.4 and then tried out official, rooted too.

Completely official, downloaded and installed by the system upgrade application.

Rooted as well.

I'm starting to think that it's trying to write the new number to the SIM card but it's not being allowed to do so.

i've got the same problem - running streakdroid 1.7.0 with an o2 locked streak on the giffgaff network...used to be fine until i flashed to 1.7.0 :D
