Guest dadaniel Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Hi! I got a POV Mobii Tegra yesterday and it seems to be a nearly 100% clone of the vega. (see http://geizhals.at/a591880.html for detailed specifications) Is it possible to load the MoDaCo ROMs on it? greetings Daniel

Guest dadaniel Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 That sounds great :) Is the WLAN problem fixed? With the stock firmware I have to connect to saved WLANs manually all times (after sleep or reset)

Guest dc82 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Yes it is possible, I use it as we speak in teh same configuration :) Hi! Can you describe how you've achieved this? I managed to flash the latest Vega Rom - this was no problem at all. But When I put the POV Mobii with the Vega ROM in debug mode, connect the usb-cable to my pc (Win 7 x64) there's no "unknown device" where I could install the USB Driver to flash Paul's Modaco ROM. Regards.
Guest dc82 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 There was some issue with Win 7 recognise the Debug Mode. After connecting me HTC Desire in Debug Mode to my PC everything went fine - Paul's Modaco Vega ROM is now running on the POV Mobii. Thx
Guest behnaam Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 I have unbranded Vega/POV (direct from factory), and after flashing both Vega and the POV's firmwares it cannot detect MicroSD anymore. After looking through dmesg and logcat logs I've noticed how it actually detects the MicroSD being taken in and out, but on init it fails detect it because of invalid maximum block size. Investingating what difference the 3 builds have (mine, Vega and POV) to see if anything changed in terms of code. Note: this is probably only effecting me :)
