Guest heekah Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Hello All, Liquid is an amazing phone, and i love it. But there are couple of problems that i need to get thru before loving it all the more. I am not able to recieve files via bluetooth from my other friends' phones. I tried pairing my devices with all of them, tried with Sony Ericson, Nokia, Blackberry, etc. Still doesnt work. I AM able to connect to my Bluetooth Headset JABRA though. I have also downloaded a software from the Market Named "Bluetooth File transfer". I am also able to send files to others through this software, but am still not able to recieve files. I am new to the Android world. Any help will be very much appreciated. Waiting for your posts. Thanks.
Guest fear_factory84 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 If you have android 2.1 or 2.2 you have bluetooth file transfer support out of the box. Apps on the market are for 1.6 generally. Try to go on Settings, application, services, if bluetooth is enabled you will see a Bluetooth Sharing service (I have in italian "Condivisione Bluetooth"). If an incoming file is detected, you will receive a notification asking you to accept the file. Tested with a nokia n82 and e61i (both on 2.1 roms and 2.2 roms).
Guest thedicemaster Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 i've had most luck with es file explorer running in bluetooth mode on both phones. this way you can browse a different phone's sdcard like it's your own and freely copy files back and forth without constant confirmation popups(only twice for the activation of bluetooth, but no messages for each file transfer)
Guest Alexzandro Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Hello! I have had zero probs with plain 2.2 release, see my signature. Regards
Guest Thmz159 Posted December 22, 2010 Report Posted December 22, 2010 Now sure about this but, I think that isn't needed to pair if you want to receive. When I change files with a friend's phone he just needs to send it to my phone and the phone asks if you want to receive. (BT on fcourse) :) The same works with my laptop. This works for both sending and receiving.
Guest macs_domain Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Today just encountered when I'm using the bluetooth headset to make calls the listener could not hear me clearly, been using the headset before with no problems now I'm wondering why they could not hear me clealy. Is there any mic volume adjustment for this? Tried looking for that on the phone couldn't find one. May be you may have info on this. Thanks:)
