Depends i guess, the villian rom forum isnt so heavily used either, and they have a custom rom.

I think modaco's kind of become the home for the blade :)

Doesn't change that mutch for me..

I think modaco is my ideal place, a lot of information, many gurus and a friendly community, proven by the fact that i've asked a bunch of newbie question and nobody was rude (i'm even more happy about the community considering my bad english -.-).

So good for the scene probably, but pesonaly is like an optional i'm looking at distance :)

Cyanogen mod ;) (And continued support)

I think that would make the blade complete :)

I wonder what is the need of a forum there, when we can find solution n support for any problem here at MoDaCo.

XDA has a wide range of developers and a huge user base..

If nothing else at least first time buyers over @XDA will hear about the blade :)

MoDoCo will still be the first place I look but at least I can double check there too :)

They needn't bother with a forum, they should just have a link to this forums with a goodwill message to the Modaco management.

the bigger is community, the biggest is support, and pressure on ZTE to deliver support form their side!

So it's good to have MoDaCo, as well as XDA support for this amazing device!

Maybe the section at xda would be more visible to our Chinese and Japanese friends who could provide ROM dumps of there 2.2 devices?

Someone should post a thread there with those variants listed and possibly the Dell rebranded Blade that's being released in India.

Hey, guys!

I'm going to buy the Blade in Austria tomorrow...but now I'm concerned because of the different ROMs been posted in one of the threads in the new Blade section at xda...I'd like to flash a 2.2-CROM from MoDaCo to my device. Will it work or does it only work with the Orange San Francisco???

Have I understood this correctl that every Blade from another carrier has another kernel???

I hope you can help me...I'll have to stand up early tomorrow to catch a Blade before it is sold out...so it would be nice to know if I could flash a better ROM to my device or if I should buy a San Francisco on Ebay...

@majnu

I got the same message when I was going to post something at xda -.-

The newer roms should work fine :)

The compatibility issues were with the TFT screen and the 5mp camera (If it has a 5mp camera then it probably just won't work)

That said I can't guarantee anything ;)

That's what should happen really ;)

Shouldn't issue any warnings for something so trivial
