DroidWall (Android Firewall) on the Vega?

Call me paranoid, but I like to use DroidWall, an Android Firewall, on my Android devices. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to work on the Vega. Although I can enable the service and apply the rules, it just doesn't do anything. If I go to 'Show rules' it looks like it was unable to update the iptables:

[1] Illegal instruction ${IPTABLES} - L -v

Does anyone know if it is possible to get DroidWall working on the Vega or is this simply not possible until we get the Kernel source code?

Cheers!

Actually it does seem to work on mine, although the 'Show Rules' indeed does seem to cause an error.

The reason why I think it's working is because I blocked an app from internet-access and it indeed seems to no longer be able to do so. Other apps however, continue to work fine. You could try and check it on your device as well?

Do note - I am running the 1.06 with modaco pack (no performance pack) and Z4Root applied (along with the Clockwork mod)

Version of DroidWall is 1.4.5 if I'm not mistaken.

You're right, it does work. I tried disabling and enabling it a few times and reapplied the rules and now it works, however, my first few attempts did nothing, no apps blocked at all. I can live with the small issue with show rules for the peace of mind it provides.

Anyway, I therefore recommend DroidWall to anyone who hasn't tried it.
