Just got this and a newbie

Hi,

I've just got this phone yesterday and I've not used a Android device for a long time.

I'm wanting to put the 2.2 ROM on it since I want to use Google Docs and watch BBC iPlayer aswell as get rid of the Orange junk.

I beleive I've got the TFT one was my build number is OUK_P729BV1.0.0B08

I'm wondering if you guys can recomend me the best 2.2 ROM for my handset and a quick guide on how it install it also how to revert it back to stock settings if I break it.

iplayer won't work, it uses flash and froyo or not, flash won't work on the san fran's chipset..

Though if you Google beebplayer.apk you may find a non market app that will offer a similar service to the i-player :)

OK Cheers guys. Running 2.2 now seems much smoother.

A quick question I noticed on both versions when I put the phone to sleep and wake it up the wifi doesnt seem to re connect. I'm wondering if there is any kind of fix for that.

I use Blade Wifi Fix - available on via the Market, it doesn't actually fix the issue but automates the toggle off and on of the Wifi which gets it working again.

I'm interested to know what 2.2 ROM you used with your TFT. I thought all 2.2 ROMs were for the OLED version?
