Can anyone please shed any light on this please?

I have downloaded Yahoo Messenger Inc plug-ins from the market and installed it on 2 Vega’s. IM and Voice Calls work fine but Video Chat does not. It says that it is waiting for the other person to answer but the other Vega does not show any incoming call unlike it does when a voice call is being received which means that the connection can not be made.

Has anyone successfully got this or something else working because I have tried the likes of Fring etc but to no avail.

I got Yahoo to work both ways between PC and Vega but as I don't possess another Vega I cannot reproduce your situation. I presume you are using two different Yahoo accounts to test this out right ?

P.S. If you want to test out Vega to Vega over the internet then message me your Yahoo user id and I can give you a call if you like

I got Yahoo to work both ways between PC and Vega but as I don't possess another Vega I cannot reproduce your situation. I presume you are using two different Yahoo accounts to test this out right ?

Yes i am using two different accounts but i can not see why everything else works bar the one thing that i really wanted which is typical lol. I do not have them with me right now but i can not get anywhere with it i will send you the user id and if we can test that way that would be great thanks.

Problem solved! Maybe next time I should read the terms and conditions as it clearly states that video chat is unavailable to people under the age of 18 and seeing as I used the correct DOB for my young children it was never going to work.

On another note for anyone wanting to use the webcam for chat between 2 vega's Yahoo works a treat.

How do you check/amend your DOB in yahoo - can't find it anywhere!!!

I dont belive that you can check the age but if you go into account settings, profile it showed some short of symble surround by a red back ground if i renember correctly and this means the user is under age. Unfortunately you can not amend the age on the account so I had to delete them and start again with a different user name.
