Help Please(Solved)

Well I have bought an unlocked Desire HD to play with android(seems to be a german phone, but cannot get it to root and be able to flash any roms...always gives me update failed or Customer id error...need some help please

Plenty of options and guides in there for perm/temp root, radio/hboot s-off, sim unlock etc.

Been all over that forum,im missing something though, some step to get a new rom on here...ive used Pauls app but after that i get confused...lol...windows mobile im good with this one is really messing with me....Thanks for the reply :)

I watched this

and even though i dont understand the language hes speaking...lol...I followed his actions...and all went well and now i have the 1.72 rom on my device....
