Not vibrating when recieving messages

Hi there

Im having problems with my Desire, it wont vibrate when revieving messages and notifications. It vibrates when it rings. The problem occurs when i install any custom ROM's, with the original HTC Sense it works fine.

My specs:

HTC Desire PVT1

ClockworkMod 2.5.0.7

S-ON

Oxygenmod 2.0 RC2

Please HELP me

Maybe a dumb question but did you open the default messaging app and check the settings there?

Stock AOSP ROMs don't have vibrate enabled for SMS/email be default so as said, check the app settings

Ive checked all kinds of sollutions that dont involve coding or flashing anything other than different roms.

Is there any way to activate the vibrating

Download 'Sound Manager' and check vibrate settings there - should solve your problem.

So you've turned on vibrate in the actual SMS app by going into settings?
