Basic question about fastboot

Hi all...

I've recently used the QDL tool to upgrade my Best Buy purchased Dell Streak to the leaked 2.2 (Froyo) version. I absolutely love it!

DJ_Steve is an amazing resource, and I couldn't have done it without his help. He did mention that I can download 1.5 and use Fastboot to install it.

Can anyone explain exactly how to do this? What steps do I take to do it?

Have a read of the various threads that detail how to use fastboot,

A quick search brought up as much info a as youre ever likely to need..

also the 1st post on steves thread explains how to flash his roms, you use fastboot to flash a custom recovery, such as streakmod from mistadman, and flash the update.pkg from there

Have fun, its not hard to do, just make sure you read and work out what to do rather than slavishly following instructions.

That way if something does go wrong youre more likely to be able to correct it yourself

Fwiw, I didn't know what fastboot or much else android was in june, come 3 days into july I leant 90% ofall I know now
