San Fran - unlocked Orange B05 - no 3G!!! help please (have searched)

Hi all and Merry Christmas,

I'm new to Android and have a Orange San Fran running B05, unlocked on o2.

Have searched, and tried this: http://android.modaco.com/content/zte-blad...et-o2-internet/

I used the setting shown there, and I'm on a Simplicity contract

but I can only get 2G internet, not 3G.

- I have rebooted the phone.

- Turned airplane mode off and on

- turned "2G netowkrs only" off and on

but nothing has worked

i assume you have tried the sim on another 3G device and get good 3G signal?

i unlocked too using new giffgaff sym and noticed there was no 3g symbol afterwards. I just assumed it was poor o2/giffgaff coverage where i am.

Create an APN

You can put in whatever you want apart from the port - I used 8080

I thought before on Orange the 3G symbol showed when wifi was still on... I thought it showed 3G existed as well as was being used. Now it doesn't. Of course it really doesn't matter at all. I just wondered.
