N1 or Desire...or...?

I'm currently using the tmobile pulse and eventhough it's not that awefull,with the cyanogen and a few tweaks,I'm really fed up with the limited CPU features,like the missing flash 10 and the missing neon options to use vplayer to stream from my Dreambox 8k and the crappy camera.

Anyway,I don't really need the newest and best phones like desire hd,Galaxy s, or NS,but I'd really like to have something way better than the pulse.

If you had the choice,which one would you take...the N1,or the "old" Desire?

Or would you maybe even consider a different one(with above mentioned features),that even costs a little less?

Ps.Oh and Merry Christmas btw... :(
