unable to connect to internet or marketplace

Hi All, i have upgraded to a froyo android 2.2 rom on an orange san fransisco. the os has install has gone through ok but i am unable to connect to the internet. iu have tried all the default apn setting which are available on the list, and have also added my own which worked previously. any ideas? im on o2 pay monthly,

silly me didnt enable dataa over mobile network setting. off by deafult lol
