Guest AndyJay Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 (edited) Hey guys. Got my LG 540 today as a Christmas present. I was looking through the apps etc. I've noticed that two messages keep popping up every few minutes (which are really bugging me). They say "There was an error processing your request, try again later." and "The server is not responding, try again later.". I realised them after trying to open the "Navigation" app which requires GPS. I've messed about with the GPS settings and turned automatic and background sync off and I still get the messages. However I do not know if that app is the cause or not. Anybody know how to fix it because it's really doing my head in :( Edited December 25, 2010 by AndyJay

Guest AndyJay Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 what version of software you have. 1.6 or 2.1? I've just upgraded to 2.1. It was doing it before the upgrade and after it. I signed out of Facebook and it's not come up since then so I'm hoping I've fixed it now. If there's anything else I need to know let me know please.
Guest saeba_ryo Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 I think those messages originate from the build in Facebook app, never seen them again since I removed that app from the ROM.

Yes, those messages are from LG Facebook app. If you do not use Facebook, go to Settings, Accounts & Sync, then remove facebook account... or if you use Facebook - sync that accout with google phone account (actualy there was a checkmark for that syncing on the login page in LG Facebook app the first time you opened it). There you go. I hope that help. :(
Guest AndyJay Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 Thanks for all the replies guys. Signing out of FB on the app has indeed stopped the messages :-)
Guest Eljo_M Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 I had the same problem, thanks :(
