anything to change the "my phone number" on SIM card?

as title, is it possible that I can modify the phone number?

I understand the stock android may not be able to modify that, but are there any apps that can make this happen?

iphones/older hik-sony eriksons and nokia symbians have this option to set it. borrow friends phone and set it on that with the sim. or use an old one you already have maybe. :(

i did have a nokie 8250 but unfortunately it doesn't accept 3G only sim cards, in my case a 3G sim from 3UK

that's why I've been looking for apps that can do this trick on an android phone :(

Do you want to hide your real phone number, or is the phone still showing the number from the original sim after you have changed sims?

You need one of the older phones that could do it

no app as far as I know does this, its the inbuilt number on the sim card itself

Orange uses it, and puts the number on the card and they can change it remotely if they wanted.

I'd borrow an old phone that can do it, (google the list of phones)

btw if its needed for an app such as TIKL then you can also login using facebook instead of having the number on the sim card.
