Guest ZeoniteFlow Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 So i installed the 1.6_05 firmware or something like that. I want to install paul's custom rom but there is nothing in my device manager to install the driver. Cant find adb or anything. Windows 64x It shows it as a nvidia harmony in devices, cant find it in device manager. Would really like some suggestions, tried most of the stuff i saw and it didnt do anything. Tried uninstalling the driver but either didnt work or just came back after plugging in. Would like or some help. Maybe a workaround that just needs all the gApps installed or something.
Guest unholyimp Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 Look in the USB section in the device manager. Unplug the Vega and plug it back with device manger open you should see one update and then click on update driver. Not too sure if the drivers work with 64bit

Guest ZeoniteFlow Posted December 25, 2010 Report Posted December 25, 2010 enabled usb debugging Yes, i wouldnt have posted otherwise ;D Also, to the other guy, i did try to connect it to a xp computer, forgot to boot it into recovery mode on that, but it didnt try and do any drivers. On device managers, i plug it in and it just shows a storage device and a disk.

Guest tech_fox Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 I haven't got time to go into the detail here tonight but have a look at arad85 topic "What to do when your USB drivers are wrong (win7/64)...., how to update to the correct drivers" and my posts in that topic. My post number 29 in that topic may be the solution to your problem. Also post 580 on page 29 of the MODACO Add-on forum may help you.
Guest ZeoniteFlow Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 Right, so i uninstalled the mass storage driver, safely removed hardware and stuff. Unplugged it. PLugged it back in, for the FIRST time i saw an nvidia harmony device, and the composite and mass storage. Updated the harmony to an adb, then upgraded that to the one in pauls latest prebake. Just gonna try and run the thing now.
Guest ZeoniteFlow Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 (edited) right, it is an android composite adb interface(the one from pauls pack) but when i run the install-windows.bat it just flashes through some stuff in like a second, then closes, any help? EDIT: the adb-windows.exe is still called that, do i need to change to adb.exe? with the file name called that it just sits their doing nothing. have reloaded all the drivers.
