I am hoping somebody can help, I have installed different baked versions of MoDaCo from the kitchen, but I am having the same problem with all of them.

If i install the official twitter app, I cannot tweet, I get a force close when I try. This also happens with tweetdeck, and Facebook for android when I select places. When

I view the preview the report I get that the error was java.lang.IllegalArgumentException. Narrowing it down by looking at the stack trace it shows - Unable to start activity ComponentInfo{com.facebook.katana/com.facebook.katana.activity.places.FriendCheckinsActivity}:java.lang.IllegalArg

mentException: provided=gps.

Am I right in thinking that these apps are trying to use the GPS stack for location based services? I have tried turning the wifi location on and off, rebooting inbetween. Its not really a problem in the Facebook app, I can avoid using the 'places' bit. However its a bit of a pain in the twtter apps as it prevents me for actually tweeting.

Any ideas on causes or solutions anybody
