Hi Gang,

My home screen icon in the top left corner has stopped working so at the moment i am having to use multiple presses to get back to the start page.

I wonder if anyone has any clues to this one.

It had been working fine since the r4 mod+performance pack was installed, so I am a bit comfused why it should stop.

My home screen button has never been the most responsive but does work.. a work around I'd suggest is to install button savior from market. It gives you a pull out menu with a home link on.

how is this button saviour installed.

It tells you to install to root.

From what I gather Vega is rooted as default. Just turn on USB debugging & install button Savior from market

You can remap one of the volume buttons as home, I have one as home and the other menu. Its really simple and their is a guide on the site. After you do that you just use a widget on the desktop to control the volume or just mute and unmute as I do as I always use headphones for listening to the vega.
