Guest bais Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 (edited) Say hello to Acer broken framework. It's like when in some apps, when you press the Menu button, one of the icons is messed up (example TouchWizz launcher). Or when you install the DeskClock.apk of another device the date text is messed up. EDIT: Anyway I don't know any solution for that, sorry... Edited December 26, 2010 by bais
Guest Vlad Pisarev Posted December 26, 2010 Report Posted December 26, 2010 I noticed only one thing... the HEX values in Public.xml is different when the same in GNO...
Guest Master_T Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Same problem here... didn't bother me much so I never reported it, but if you find a fix let us know!

Guest Harness Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 I can't... I tryed, but it isn't work... Communities? Members? Professionals? Help plz! It's one of the biggest problem in 2.2 Lmfao. There are much bigger problems than this my friend.
Guest HustlinDaily Posted December 31, 2010 Report Posted December 31, 2010 Maybe I'm lucky but I have not encountered any problems besides this (unless you consider lack of overclock as a problem but to me that is more of an inconvenience).
Guest Harness Posted January 1, 2011 Report Posted January 1, 2011 Maybe I'm lucky but I have not encountered any problems besides this (unless you consider lack of overclock as a problem but to me that is more of an inconvenience). We're getting there. We don't want to use phh kernel because of everything it breaks. So, back to the drawing board. Harness.
Guest Güilzom Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 (edited) I got the spinner working after fake my market with the market enabler app... BTW I'm using MIUI rom Edited January 2, 2011 by Güilzom
Guest HustlinDaily Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 I got the spinner working after fake my market with the market enabler app... BTW I'm using MIUI rom Yeah the spinner doesn't work on Acer based ROMs only.
Guest Harness Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Yeah the spinner doesn't work on Acer based ROMs only. Any idea why? If so I might be able to fix it. I cba to really try to find out why but if someone can find out why I can probly knock it out relatively quickly. Harness. Ohbtw; Hustlin, you're one of the ones my script didn't work for right?
Guest Harness Posted January 2, 2011 Report Posted January 2, 2011 Going to PM you a new little toy I've been working on for the last 10 hours or so as soon as I finish debugging it. It's freaking difficult when you have no idea what you're reading/writing, and just kinda bsing it
Guest dise Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 Do we have a solution for this (force old market maybe...)? It's very annoying to not see the rating in the new market.
Guest HustlinDaily Posted January 11, 2011 Report Posted January 11, 2011 There is a way to see the ratings. Click on the app. Scroll down to "Reviews" then click the "More" button below the 3 reviews. You will then see the star rating for the app as well as individual reviews with star ratings.

Hope someone port this fix to Liquid, cause after i push the framework folder or simply the framework.jar file to /system/framework, device stays on Acer logo with 3 androids and doesn't go ahead. Guest vache Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Problem fixed on Acer Metal with latest bin. Hope someone port this fix to Liquid, cause after i push the framework folder or simply the framework.jar file to /system/framework, device stays on Acer logo with 3 androids and doesn't go ahead. Guest Vlad Pisarev Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Just push the framework-res.apk, not the framework.jar and others. It isn't compatible. Reboot on Android Logo (after vibration).
Guest fear_factory84 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 Just push the framework-res.apk, not the framework.jar and others. Could someone upload to the forum the updated framework-res.jar as I don't have a liquid metal or a liquid metal nandroid to extract the file...?
Guest Vlad Pisarev Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 From Metal http://www.multiupload.com/DF40KR259D
Guest fear_factory84 Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 placing that apk on /system/framework and clearing dalvik cache on lcr-f 2.0 causes a bootloop............ How this apk should be ported to liquid a1 or E?
Guest Vlad Pisarev Posted February 3, 2011 Report Posted February 3, 2011 How this apk should be ported to liquid a1 or E? Maybe some layouts can be copied to Liquid's framework-res.apk ... I din't know!
