Pull from /data/app.

thanks for that mike , worked a treat , wasnt sure were it pulled them too tho , after a bit of searching figured it pulled to C/data . One more question if i may , would it be advisable to put these pulled data apps in with system apps on this rom , or are they best re-installing so they stay in the data/apps directory

many thanks

Guys, did anyone try this ROM with enabled Hardware Acceleration? Are there any UI graphics artefacts?

Yes it seems to work fine i did not see any artefacts.

I experience some incompatibility with the T-Mobile network as reported by other posters. It seems to block any HTTP connection (e.g. Browser, Map, Market etc) while other connection types (GMail, GTalk) seem to be okay.

I manually added an APN using settings from the T-Mobile support webpage and it made no difference. I vaguely remember someone edited a string in the build.prop file to fix something similar but I can't find it anymore. Any idea?

.

Anyone?

Hey Seb,

Getting a failed install of your r0.3 -- error message as follows:

Copying files...

E:Can't symlink /system/bin/iwconfig

E:Failure at line 32:

symlink iwmulticall SYSTEM:bin/iwconfig

Installation Aborted

Using your latest clockwork mod version

Previously installed r0.2 with no issue - complete wipe before installing this + cleared all cache's etc.

Do you have any clues as to what might be wrong?

Thanks

have tried to re-download the file a few times, and have even re-installed CWM. Same deal.

Gone back to seb 2.1 r8 for the time being. Hope someone can help with the above issue.

happy new year y'all!

hmmmm....

in clockworkmod, if you goto advanced, and then report error, it will write a logfile to your SD card, can you post that?

aha! is it possible for the file to be repackaged an reuploaded? perhaps on a webspace other than hotfile? (if that could have caused it)

The file should be OK in the hotfile server. You just need to download it again.

Yeah I've tried that several times - same error. Have you installed this rom?

Edit:

I'm going to download it using Chrome, rather than Firefox and see if that helps...

Edit 2:

Same error!

Doublecheck that the MD5SUM for the file you downloaded and copied to the MicroSD card is 0f8b27589de69433c3089470bef53f30

That way you check if the file's integrity has been altered or not during the download / copy into the MicroSD card.

MD5 hash of downloaded file doesn't match the one in the OP. Winrar reports errors in 3 APKs...
