Can any one answer my Questions about Vega....?

I got the Vega last week and I am happy with it...There is a few things I would like to use it for...

1. 3G support...? Is there any external device to connect the vega to 3G...? Not the Bluetooth tether...Is there any options to do hardware modifications to get the 3g...?

2. Video Player....The only reason i am against apple products is i need to covert everything into convert into MP4...which is a pain...I can play few files in vega without conversion but i want to play all the files...like MKV,AVI, every video file without conversion...Is there any good video player for that...?

3. Foreign Language Support for browser....I read news papers in foreign language...Is there is any option to install fonts...? or any browser supports all the foreign languages...?

4. Linux...any option to install Linux in Vega..I saw few people able to install linux in o2 Joggler...so i thought it will be a nice idea to have linux installed in VEGA...

1. You get things like mifi adpaters and wireless tethering to your phone by creating an ad-hoc network. However if you check the USB compatibility list then see what 3G dongles work you can work out what will work for you.

2. Google is redoing the android media framework but until that happens you are stuck with the basics so avi works mkv is iffy and it doesn't play any of the dolby proprietary audio formats so no AC3 or DTS but you can use rockplayer in software mode to play those its just not all that great at it.

3. No idea how but I imagine so considering there are multiple language options at startup it must support a few. Remember is just android 2.2 on the vega and while its tweaked a bit its not that different to how it on a phone at heart so if you can do it on other android devices theres a fair chance the same procedure will work for the vega. Also browser wise different browsers may have their own ways of doing things. The default is ok but Dolphin is miles better on the vega.

4. Not yet but hopefully soon, remember that the vega has only been out a month and while there are lots of copies pretty much all of them came out at the same time or later so there aren't that many in the wild yet and haven't been out and about for long.
