samsung i900 screen brightness/glare

I have a samsung omnia i900. I love this phone. Does everything i want it to do but as soon as i go outside i cant even see the screen.

Just wondering if anyone knows if theres any apps that can increase the brightness on the screen.

Or if anyone has used a anti glare screen protector and had good success with it. If so which one did you use (links?)

Is there a better and brighter screen for it?

any help would be greatly appreciated

i have been looking into getting an iphone but it cant do half the stuff my i900 can do.

Unfortunatelly, mate... if you give a try to gsmarena.com, you'll find that there are VERY FEW models with very bright screen (good backlight ballance).

Our i900 is NOT one of them!

Anyways, I'm usually "playing" with FavoriteHack Omnia application and other hacking apps, to increase it.

Generally, is all about the rom you're using... I found some roms with LOW backlight ballance and others with very good ones...

Since I'm using (for long time by now) OCK's roms, I found them quite good with the backlight issue. Combine in that the fact I'm "playing" a lot with registry hacks... and I'm using the System's backlight interface in MANUAL MODE (and FULL BRIGHT), I can tell you... I have good enough backlight ballance.

But, take in mind, you're in AUSTRALIA (very bright!) and I'm in LONDON (almost always cloudy!)...
