Shortcuts (too many...) on home screen

Hi,

Hope you can help an Android newbie ;)

Got my Blade yesterday and since there is really no handbook to refer to, I played around and went by the Trial and Error method - and before I knew it I had like three phone shortcuts and a few other shortcut copies on the s c home screen. But how do I get rid of them?

I have tried to find if there are Q A already but either there aren't or I do not know the correct words for what I mean (Newbie as before-mentioned, and not native in English tongue) :(

Hope You can help me!

PS I haven't done any other modifications and it is running on the original settings.

hold your finger on the icon when it moves drag it to the bin and drop it (lift your finger off)

point the icon you want to remove let your finger on it until you see a trash in the back of the screen move the icone in trash

that's all
