Sorry for all the questions as well :P Use Titanium Backup Install it from market, do a backup, install your rom, then install Titanium again from market, and do a restore. Alternatively, just export contacts to your sim, then import them again after installing the rom. But from your position, you will probs need to put them back in. May help in future though...

Guest wadgel Posted February 13, 2011 Report Posted February 13, 2011 (edited) I have never been able to restore texts with Titanium Backup (although the options are there). Instead I let Google backup contacts (using Sync) and use SMS Backup + to backup (and then restore) texts to GMail. As stated in another thread (you could do the same with contacts (Google Sync) and other data (Titanium) ): Doesn't help if you didn't have this before the update/wipe though. You could: Do another clockwork backup Restore the original one Install SMS Backup + Backup SMS messages Restore your new clockwork backup Install SMS Backup + again (and set scheduled backups) Restore SMS messages Edited February 13, 2011 by wadgel
