Guest ejgutierrez Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Hello, i have been using Samsung Omnia, and last week i "updated" to htc Desire and Android... The question is: i had a very useful Samsung sbh 500 headset with bluetooth... By i have tried all the ways but i cant make it work on my desire... In theory its an a2dp bluetooth headset...should be compatible...i dont know perhaps someone has to write a special driver/module... Any help would be apreciated Thanks in advance

Guest bpivk Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Thanks but im looking for a more accurate answer... :(Usually it's RTFM and then look for an answer if you don't find a solution in the manual. You'll find out (once you get to the pairing part of the manual) that you don't need any special drivers/kernel/hand of god.
Guest volatile_ink Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Thanks but im looking for a more accurate answer... :( Pair it.
Guest ejgutierrez Posted December 27, 2010 Report Posted December 27, 2010 Sorry for my bad english... I ve been usign this headset for a year in my samsung omnia with windows mobile. But i cant make it work in Desire with android. I know how it works, how to pair, how to search new devices... The problem is that it doesnt work. I put my desire visible, i have always activated the bluetooth, i make search new device... and my desire doesnt find the headset. I tried more than 20 times, with the phones on, holding the answer call button... I tried everything but seems that android dont understand this headset... Any help would be apreciated
Guest guydjemal Posted January 6, 2011 Report Posted January 6, 2011 The bluetooth device also needs to be in pairing mode...
