Java Issues

Hi,

Trying to run and use a website www.kodakpulse.com which requires me to install java before it will work. Using the links on the website it takes me to java.com then presumes I have an apple mac! Does anyone have any ideas or good Java apps that will work with my vega? I have the custom ROM and performance pack r5 installed.

There is no Java implementation (JVM) available for any Android platform. There is a very ropey J2ME port I've seen but that is never going to be official as it needs to be licensed by Oracle and that is never going to happen.

Remember Android uses the Dalvik VM it just so happens that you can compile Dalvik bytecode from Java bytecode, but that does not mean that Android runs Java.

Ahhhh, OK. New to all this android stuff so sorry if it appears a bit of a stupid question! I guess I need to run this website from my laptop.
